How to Add AdSense Ads to Blogger Posts (Full Guide) 💰
If you have a Blogger website and want to earn money through Google AdSense, this guide is for you! Today, I’ll explain step-by-step how to connect AdSense to Blogger and properly display ads inside your blog posts.
🧩 Step 1: Apply for AdSense Approval
Before adding ads, make sure your website is ready for approval:
- ✅ At least 10–15 high-quality posts
- ✅ About, Contact, Privacy Policy pages
- ✅ Original content (no copy-paste)
Once ready, go to Blogger → Earnings → Apply for AdSense. When approved, your AdSense dashboard will show “Ready” status.
⚙️ Step 2: Add Auto Ads (Simple Method)
AdSense automatically shows ads across your blog using Auto Ads. Here’s how to enable them:
- Login to AdSense.
- Click on Ads → Get Code.
- Copy the HTML script provided.
- In Blogger, go to Theme → Edit HTML and paste it just below the
<head>tag.
Now AdSense will automatically place ads where it performs best — header, sidebar, or in between paragraphs.
💻 Step 3: Add Ads Manually Inside a Post
If you want to show ads inside specific posts (like I do on my site 😎), follow these steps:
- Go to Blogger → Posts → Edit.
- Switch to HTML View.
- Paste your AdSense ad code where you want the ad to appear (usually after 1–2 paragraphs).
Example code:
<script async src="https://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/js/adsbygoogle.js?client=ca-pub-1595250895567242"></script>
<ins class="adsbygoogle"
style="display:block"
data-ad-client="ca-pub-1595250895567242"
data-ad-slot="4584619901"
data-ad-format="auto"
data-full-width-responsive="true"></ins>
<script>(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});</script>
After publishing, check your post in 24–48 hours — ads start appearing once AdSense has reviewed your page layout.
📊 Step 4: Track Performance
Go to your AdSense dashboard → Reports tab. You can see daily earnings, impressions, and clicks. Experiment with ad placement to see what works best.
